On June 28, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with a delegation of Peruvian business associations in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on promoting the development of economic and trade relations between China and Peru, deepening the cooperation between the business communities of the two countries in bilateral and multilateral platforms, as well as participating in the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and the 17th China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit, and other topics.

José Arista Arbildo, Minister of Economy and Finance of Peru, as well as officials of 15 Peruvian business associations including the Peruvian Association of Exporters (ADEX), Peruvian Foreign Trade Society (Comex Peru), Peruvian National Society of Industries (SNI), the Peruvian–Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CAPECHI), Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) were among the attendees.
