On July 1, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with Yohei Kono, president of the Japanese Association for the Promotion of International Trade (JAPIT), in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth discussions on promoting pragmatic cooperation between the Chinese and Japanese business communities and participating in the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).
Ren Hongbin expressed his welcome for the Japanese business community to continue deepening cooperation with China, maintaining the stability and smoothness of industrial and supply chains, and sharing the dividends of China’s economic development, thus opening a new chapter in mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Japan. He congratulated JAPIT on its 70th anniversary and stated that in the new era, CCPIT is willing to work with the Japanese side to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of both states, respond to the expectations of the business communities of the two sides, set up more platforms for the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between China and Japan, as well as provide more opportunities. ,The two sides will make greater contributions to the sustained, healthy, and stable development of bilateral relations.
After the meeting, CCPIT hosted a welcome banquet for the JAPIT Delegation to China. The banquet was attended by around 100 representatives from the two countries.
